Okay… Let´s do this. Ready?
A LIBRARY BOOK
Brace yourselves because this is going to be a worthy rant that´ll end with me blaming the husbutt. I haven´t been to a library since I finished university. WHY? BECAUSE THERE ISN`T A LIBRARY NEAR ME OR ONE WITHIN AN HOUR DRIVE HERE! I live smack in the middle of the flipping boondocks, where Oscar the milk cow winks his good mornings at me and the hell cat ( only God knows who hell cat belongs to ) gives me a heart attack at night with his complainings outside my kitchen window. The closest thing to a library would be my best friend´s private library but she only reads sci-fi… and I don´t. Who´s to blame? Husbutt. He said we´d love it here. He even made me do the whole cheasy “close your eyes and imagine…” thing and guess what? I´m now a happy villager without library access.
A BOOK I GOT AS A GIFT
Once upon a time… on a snowy Christmas morning, Husbutt´s cousin dashed by and brought us gifts. Mine was a book. A tricky thing to gift someone. * waves off * ANYWAY- The book was `Gone Girl` by Gillian Flynn. There never was a book that infuriated me more. But I didn´t have the heart to tell him I didn´t like it. So, ever since… I´ve been gifted books on Christmas by husbutt´s cousin. * sigh *
A CHILDHOOD BOOK
Ooooh. I remember loving The Hobbit. My dad used to read it to me until I was able to read it myself. Then he showed me the cartoon movie ( the 70´s version ). My world was shattered after that. I lost all hope after they made a trilogy out of the book. * sigh * OUT OF ONE BOOK.
A MAGICAL BOOK
Hmm, I don´t read many magical books but the last one I read that had magic in it was from Alys Arden- The Casquette Girls. So kick ass awesome ❤
A ROMANTIC BOOK
THIS (!!!) I´m definitely going with Thoughtless by S.C. Stephens. That´s my all time favorite romance because it´s so freaking romantic ( and frustrating. But still romantic ) The tension! The feels! Be still my chaotic emotional household!
A STEAMY BOOK
I´m definitely going to agree with Teagan on the A Court Of Mist And Fury but will not pick the cabin scene ( although, that´s a good one! * wink * ) Instead I´ll take the Court Of Nightmares scene. * fans face *
AN OLD BOOK
Old? Where to start… The only old book I bought myself was The Picture of Dorian Gray. My mom once gave me my Grandma´s Gone With The Wind copy, along with a tacky Clarke Gable and Vivien Leigh plate to place over my TV. * sigh * So, that counts as old, right?
A BOOK THAT MAKES ME HAPPY/LAUGH
`The Internet Is A Playground` by David Thorne. I swear on all that´s pink and fluffy… That guy is a dick but the things he does…genius! Love Justin´s Floodlight ( If you haven´t already, go and read it. I couldn´t breathe from laughing so hard. It´s short and so funny )
A BOOK THAT MADE ME EMOTIONAL
`The Birthday List` by Devney Perry. All that pain the Heroine endured….
A BOOK WITH AN ENDING I DISLIKE
Hold my coke while I go and dig up the many scrolls.
A BOOK I WISH HAD ILLUSTRATIONS
Call me odd but.. I´d rather keep my books without illustrations. Leaves more to the imagination.
A BOOK OR GENRE I LOVE TO READ WHEN IT’S RAINING
So, that was it. I apologize for the rant above. Besides that- I hope you enjoyed! ❤
As always.. do not feel pressured into doing this tag. You will still be loved if you don´t. ❤
